Abstract informal 2024-2121-6

Robert Niesse is a contemporary German abstract artist, renowned for his ""Abstract Informal"" paintings that masterfully explore the intersection of colour, light, and space. With a distinctive artistic voice developed through extensive experience in high-end fashion and formal training in product design, Niesse creates luminous, atmospheric works using complex layering techniques reminiscent of Gerhard Richter's abstract methods.

His oil paintings feature alternating fine, glossy colour layers and powerful gestural marks, creating what he describes as ""plurivalent playgrounds"" that emphasise intuitive and emotional impact over intellectual analysis.

Niesse has exhibited extensively across Europe, Asia, and North America, including prestigious solo shows and group exhibitions alongside established artists like Georg Baselitz and Markus Lüpertz, establishing his significant presence in the contemporary art world.
