Bighorn Sheep on the Rim - Paint by Numbers Kit

A lone ram surveys a thousand-foot drop where the Gunnison River carves its dark, glassy ribbon through the rock below. This scene freezes that hush of high altitude, where cold morning light rakes across ochre canyon walls and the sheep's thick brown coat and pale rump patch catch every ray while the gorge behind him sinks into cool slate blue shadow.

The composition rewards patient number-by-number work: warm gradients ripple through the bighorn's muscular shoulders and single curled horn, while the sheer cliffs and distant snow-capped peaks give you broad, satisfying fields of blue and gold to fill in. Each section is mapped onto a pre-printed numbered canvas, so the transitions from sunlit rock to shadowed depths come together with surprising ease, even if you've never picked up a brush before.

Fans of the American Southwest, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, and rugged wildlife art will find this one especially satisfying to paint slowly over a quiet weekend. It also makes a fitting gift for hikers, park lovers, or anyone drawn to dramatic Colorado landscapes.

Gather your brushes and let this canyon scene unfold one numbered section at a time.
