Chisos Mountains Sunset - Paint by Numbers Kit

Layered ridgelines of terracotta, deep plum, and dusty teal stack up beneath a blazing orange sky in this retro tribute to Big Bend National Park's Chisos Mountains. A lone yucca stands sentinel in the foreground desert, its dark silhouette anchoring the sweeping bands of color that recede toward the horizon, while bold cream lettering spells out TEXAS across the sunset in classic WPA travel-poster style.

This kit trades soft realism for confident, flat geometric shapes, making it a satisfying build for anyone who loves clean color blocking over fussy detail work. The pre-printed numbered canvas breaks the mountain ranges into clear, paintable sections, so even first-timers can nail those crisp terracotta-to-teal transitions without hesitation.

It's a natural pick for Texas natives, national park collectors, or road-trippers who've stood at an overlook watching this exact kind of desert sunset unfold. Gift it to someone nostalgic for the Southwest, or keep it for yourself and let this rust-and-plum landscape take shape one numbered section at a time.
