Letter From The Past 77

This artwork features an intriguing composition of horizontal lines in varying heights and vibrant colours. On the right of each line, an adjective in Korean and a corresponding number, indicating the time taken to complete that line, are hand-written, adding a personal and dynamic touch.
By juxtaposing irregularly-heighted colour planes with handwritten text, the artist breaks away from traditional colour field techniques. Each word and colour choice reflects the artist's current sensibilities, influenced by seasons, personal circumstances, and socio-political changes.

This piece invites viewers to explore the nuanced interplay between colour, language, and time, offering a unique glimpse into the artist's evolving perspective.
