Painted Wall Sunset - Paint by Numbers Kit

A single cream-colored streak of pegmatite cuts diagonally across the deep plum face of the Painted Wall, Black Canyon of the Gunnison's most iconic cliff, glowing against the darkening rock as the sun dips low. Below, a thin ribbon of emerald river winds through the gorge, the only cool note in a composition built from bold, flat masses of shadowed stone.

Rendered in the confident retro style of a vintage national park travel poster, this scene stacks a chunky orange sunset band beneath a thin strip of dusky sky, with the sun glowing gold on the horizon between distant purple ridges. The palette stays deliberately simple: plum, rust, cream, and that single vein of emerald water, making it satisfying to paint one clean shape at a time.

Each kit includes a pre-printed numbered canvas so the canyon's dramatic lines and that signature pale band are easy to follow, along with a matched set of premium acrylic paints ready to layer in. It's a relaxing project for beginners and seasoned hobbyists alike, and a fitting gift for anyone who loves the American Southwest or classic park posters.
