Scarlet Macaw in Flight - Paint by Numbers Kit

Wings thrown wide against a wall of shadowed jungle green, a scarlet macaw cuts a diagonal blaze of red, cobalt blue and gold across this composition. The bird's crimson body is a single bold mass, angled as if caught mid-glide at the forest edge, while the late afternoon sun rims each feather in warm amber light that fades into violet shadow behind the canopy.

This scene draws on the wild spirit of Costa Rica's rainforest corridors, the kind of fleeting, sunlit moment birdwatchers chase near Arenal Volcano National Park. The palette is deliberately dramatic: fiery reds and burnished golds pushing against deep, cool greens, giving the piece real visual punch on a wall once finished. Every feather block is rendered as a clean, graduated shape, making it satisfying to fill in even for someone picking up a brush for the first time.

The kit includes a pre-printed numbered canvas paired with a numbered reference sheet, so matching each wing segment and gradient of color feels intuitive rather than fiddly. Bird lovers, tropical decor enthusiasts, and anyone drawn to national park scenery will find this one especially rewarding to bring to life.

Set aside an evening, pour a drink, and let this macaw take shape one numbered section at a time.
