Sleeping Fox in Autumn Leaves - Paint by Numbers Kit

Curled into a single warm crescent of russet-orange fur, this sleeping red fox has settled into a thick carpet of golden leaves and nodded off without a care. Its white chest and tail-tip glow softly against the amber ground, while pale grey beech trunks rise quietly behind it under the soft, overcast light of a Bavarian Forest autumn day.

The whole composition reads as a peaceful study in graduated warm tones, russet, muted gold, and gentle brown, with no harsh highlights to disturb the calm. It's a scene inspired by the hush of Germany's Bavarian Forest National Park, where wildlife often rests undisturbed among fallen leaves. Painting it means working through smooth transitions of color across the fox's coat and the leaf litter, a satisfying challenge for anyone who enjoys blending rather than sharp contrast.

Each kit comes with a pre-printed numbered canvas, so the fox's curled shape and the layered leaves are already mapped out for you to fill in with confidence. Whether you're new to painting or a seasoned hobbyist looking for a relaxing project, this cozy woodland subject makes for a lovely gift or a calming weekend activity. Pick up your brush and let this dozing fox come to life one number at a time.
