Détails du produit

In this series of raw assemblages, Debono juxtaposes fragments of Masonite (Isorel) with vibrant aerosol spray paint. Embracing a philosophy of "non-mastery," he deliberately preserves the splintered, torn edges (déchirement) created when the fiberboard is broken. This creates a striking tension: the rough, organic texture of the fractured wood stands in powerful contrast to the sleek, industrial flatness of the spray paint, all masterfully anchored within a rigorous geometric composition.
